Peggy Vasquez, author, international speaker, and coach will present two workshops: * The first, “Creating a Powerful Partnership,” is for all employees from 10 to 11 a.m. * The second, “Developing Your Inner Circle,” is for administrative professionals from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Both workshops will take place in the Building 402 Auditorium. Vasquez is a chief executive assistant at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. She is also an Administrative Professional Coach, Certified Executive Professional Assistant, and Certified Trainer. She is the author of the book Not Just an Admin! The 10 a.m. workshop will focus on building effective partnerships between managers and administrative professionals including how to leverage other strategic partnerships, learning the art of strategic questioning, innovative suggestions for improving business systems, and first aid for ailing partnerships. The 11:15 a.m. workshop will focus on how the idea of the inner circle is revolutionary and why it has the power to raise the level of respect for the administrative profession. It will also provide simple steps and strategies for creating your own inner circle and attracting meaningful connections with the right people.
