That text was there when I started my edits. I don't know who placed it. However, the due date has long passed and I told Poole it was good to go Monday before last. It's fixed and final, I think. Poole is on this list and is ware of the error so, hopefully, he won't hold it against us. I don't want to change a homework assignment we've already handed in :( Perhaps we should copy that entire addendum somewhere else and maintain it as a living document, revising it to reflect our current best estimates? It would also be better to tell the people involved, instead of just changing the wiki documents. With the amount of e-mail traffic on this server, it would not be productive for us to follow all comments in depth.
