All, Over the last few weeks, Sandia has been working on a few fronts: 1. Reimplementing localstore. We've been reexamining the notion of transactions on the local storage component of sirocco and making a new implementation to support that. Matthew has also been working on an IDB wrapper for Berkeley DB, and the performance results are promising. 2. Working to make libIDB support coalescing on insert. We're preparing a small paper on the optimization, showing the performance improvement. 3. Transitioning Nathan Gauntt off of the project. Nate is moving on to other work within Sandia, and has been handing his testing suites off to me. Regards, Geoff
