As some of you may have heard through the grape vine, I'm going to be leaving the lab after nearly 14 years. I'll be going to work on cloud platforms at Ericsson. Next friday will be my last day. This has been a difficult decision, but the opportunity at Ericsson was too good to pass up; I'll be working on a bunch of same kinds of technical problems that I have at the lab, but in larger, stranger environments. It really is a job tailor made for my interests. Rick and Silvia are organizing a going away party this coming thursday. Silvia will be sending out mail about that. I really value the time I've spent at the lab. I've found people here to be both smart and generous. I've been lucky enough to work for several great mentors, learned tons, and greatly enjoyed my time here. I'm going to miss working with you all. -nld
