[CELS Sysadmins] CELS Systems Holiday Drinky Thing, Friday, 3:30.
Just a reminder to all interested. We'll bail on out of here around 3:30 and make our way to Imperial Oak. We'll do our always fun white elephant gift exchange there, too. Find something silly or cool (up to you, just make sure it's cheap), wrap it up, and we'll go over the rules when we get there for those not interested. First round or two of drinks on me, and we'll order some food once we get there. Also, Pizza Boss food truck will show up at 5. They make good pizza. Yum. I'm going to extend an invite to the ALCF Sysadmins to join us after work if they feel so inclined. But I'm not buying them any beer. Screw them. Happy hoho, and all that rot. -- Craig

Based on the input to the doodle poll, I've booked us for Dec 19 (Friday) afternoon at 3:30. Woohoo!

So in the past we've done various things as a group to celebrate the end of another year together, and it's coming up on that time again. Here's what I had in mind for this year.
On the chosen day, we'll leave work early (3:30 - 4:00ish) and head to the venue (Imperial Oak in Willow Springs - http://goo.gl/cRVv53). It's a bring- your-own food place, so we can either arrange to bring stuff or they have delivery menus from establishments in the area. Spouses/significant others are by all means welcome, but I also wanted the early start for those who can't make something like that work and need to get home to their families after work. We'll do the now-traditional and always fun white elephant gift exchange - I'll send the rules later.
Let's pick a date that works, and when we've got some level of consensus I'll book it with Imperial Oak. I've excluded the dates I can't do already. What with travel, the window is a fraction of two weeks in December. If you plan on bringing someone, note it in the comments so I can use that for a head count.
