Not really, other than given that it's almost halloween, the "haunted" Irish Legends in Willow Springs might be appropriate. The drive down Archer through the forest should be gorgeous too today (as long as we go while there's still daylight). However, while the location is nice, food and beer was just OK from what I remember last time. IIRC, the mac & cheese was pre-made w/ bacon and so couldn't be made w/o it (fine for me, but not so fine for Tisha). Yeah, I was generally underwhelmed by the experience there last time. The bartender at my Thursday Night watering hole recommended a place called "Cigars and Stripes" in Berwyn. Also, Bavarian Lodge says this on facebook: New on Draft Tonight: Struise/Mikkeller Elliot Brew, Barrel-Aged Left Hand Wake Up Dead '10, Allagash Hugh Malone, Great Divide Fresh Hop Pale Ale, and Grand Teton Tart Cherry Saison! Plus a gravity-fed firkin of Three Floyds Robert the Bruce will be tapped at 5PM tonight -- Craig On Oct 28, 2011, at 3:34 PM, John Valdes wrote:

BL is an "accurate headcount" sort of place, so if you haven't already said you were going, now is the time. - Tisha On 10/28/11 16:27, John Valdes wrote: | He's just saying that "too" is less that three. ;) | | My stomach started rumbling as soon as I read Bavarian Lodge, so | that's my pick. 4 > 3 | | John | | On Fri, Oct 28, 2011 at 04:22:56PM -0500, Andrew Cherry wrote: |> Did you really just put an ASCII heart in your email? |> |> On Oct 28, 2011, at 4:21 PM, Matt Kemp wrote: |> |> > I'm down for Bavarian Lodge. I don't really have any thoughts other than "want beer". My recollections about Irish Legend were about the same -- not offensive, but not all that great. If I remember right, they had the standard lineup of Irish and English brews, but not much (if anything) in the way of US craft brews. Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that. -Andrew On Oct 28, 2011, at 3:34 PM, John Valdes wrote:
