Just a heads up that the control room aka fishbowl will be repurposed into a showroom for ALCF over the coming weeks. The room will have carpeted tiles installed, the existing furniture will come out, and a video wall will get installed. It won't be usable as a hacking area once the furniture comes out. -- Craig

I didn't use the fishbowl a lot, but when I did, it was infinitely convenient. I know my vote carries no weight, but I greatly disapprove of making the control room not a control room. Given its size, I can't think of a layout that doesn't allow the room to be used as both a showroom and a control room. John
I probably should have stated (though I'd hoped it was obvious), I'm not in favor of this and argued against it. -- Craig On Apr 3, 2013, at 2:50 PM, John Valdes <[email protected]> wrote:
