Re: [CELS Sysadmins] TRACC, Radix/Breadboard/PADS/kBT move this week
Okay, here’s the steps that need doing. We’ll do what we can this afternoon and tomorrow, but if you can help with any of this, the chances of success go up. * Roll racks AP49 - AM49 (northernmost three racks) out of the way (decabling, etc) * Move Juniper from AO44 to AR44. * Roll racks AR44 and AN44 over to row 49 and hook them up. Before the next move, we need to relocate bbsto08 to AR49. -- Craig On 11/12/15, 2:33 PM, "Kenneth Raffenetti" <[email protected]> wrote:
Okay. Pavan is 14 hours of phase right now, so I'm going to operate under the assumption that we should try to get these online tomorrow. If there is a temporary place to house them, can they remain in place until after SC? I know it's an annoying double move, but if we get the cabling right, the second move should be a piece of cake. Just a couple power and network cables should have us back in business. I can help out the short week before Thanksgiving, too.

Sounds like the power converters will arrive on Monday.
K. I'm working on a deadline for some SC slides, but will come downstairs as soon as I can. Ken On 11/12/2015 02:42 PM, Stacey, Craig wrote:

Today’s work is done. Tomorrow we work on the Breadboard relocation stuff, so whatever time you have tomorrow will help. Main concern at this point is the Juniper in the “dead” row is showing an awful lot of hosts active, more than just the storage node and such, which makes me think stuff from across the aisle is on it. -- Craig On 11/12/15, 3:04 PM, "Kenneth Raffenetti" <[email protected]> wrote:
