I don't know who owns them, so broadcasting to a larger audience. I have no issue with it. -- Craig On Jun 21, 2012, at 4:38 PM, John Valdes wrote:
Hi guys,
Not sure who "owns" these, but I see there are 3 Server Tech CDUs in the storage room. Could LCRC borrow one of these (one of the 3-phase ones)? We're going to order one, but we have some new systems we'd like to get online before new unit arrives. We can then either give you the new one, or swap the new one in and return the borrowed one.
Thanks,
John
These should be the ones Hunter and I removed from Teragrid. Systems bought those for TG to use the few months it needed them. On Jun 21, 2012, at 5:07 PM, Dan Olson wrote:

Great, thanks!
Borrowed one. Next question: anyone have any of those round, plastic buttons and corresponding screws for mounting the CDU in an APC rack? None of the CDUs in storage nor the broken ones in the Core have them. If not, I have the metal mounting brackets from fusion's CDUs which I can make do with, but the button mounts would be much simpler. John
Dan got a few extras that I put in parts storage, but we've used them all - we/someone needs to order a dozen sets (yes a dozen - we go through them) from APC or somewhere. -- Hunter Matthews Unix Administrator Office: Bldg 221 Room B240 Argonne National Labs, MCS Key: F0F88438 / FFB5 34C0 B350 99A4 BB02 9779 A5DB 8B09 F0F8 8438 Never take candy from strangers. Servertech was happy to send me them for free previously.. Someone can try opening another case with similar info -- here is the previous ticket- Hello Daniel, Thank you for contacting Server Technology Technical Support. Server Technologies part number for the button mounting hardware is KIT-0020. This include (2) black plastic buttons and (2) mounting screws. Do you need 6 kits, or 3 kits? I can offer to provide the kits at no cost if you would provide a shipping account number. I would just need a shipping address.
