I spent some time over the weekend thinking about all the random tasks that should be done before the move this weekend. I am going to through them out there and I hope to start a thread to get a nice comprehensive checklist.

- - Backups for everything moving: - either back it up or make sure it is easily reproducable. - - Make sure we know how to turn it back on: - do we have root? - what services are important? - what mounts/exports are on the boxes. - which/how many ethernet jacks are used( what ips/networks ) - - Mark where things are going in the "Core" ( SSF ) - verify power and network exist in the marked area to match the machines. - - Make sure we have someone to turn down/up the coolers when we are lifting tiles/turning machines on.

some of these will take longer than an afternoon to make happen.
