I haven't received these from some of you, and I'm going to be compiling this into my report for April. If I haven't heard from you or talked to you specifically about this, I'm assuming anything unreported was MCS-only time. The more MCS-only time there is, the less I can argue for funding support from other divisions. Less funding support is not what I'm shooting for, though I *am* shooting for an honest appraisal of how much of our time is spent supporting work outside MCS. For the next month, any time you do work that is for the benefit of a division other than MCS, please track the amount of time you spend on it (in 15 minute increments). If it's work that benefits other divisions including MCS, note that.

For example, work on the cryptocard server would benefit other divisions and MCS in general. However, if it's work on the cryptocard server but solely driven by ALCF, that would be counted as not including MCS.

This goes for help desk work and tickets as well.

Please report the numbers to me every Friday. Plain text is fine, and can be in whatever format works for you. Something as simple as "ALCF - 8.5 hrs, CELS - 2 hrs, CI - 1 hr, MCS,ALCF - 3 hrs" would do the trick. I just need the totals for the week, over the next four weeks. And I don't need totals for anything pure MCS. Also note LCRC is now CELS and work that benefits that should be counted as such. IGSB is technically CELS, but count it as its own thing. If you have questions about a particular group and how they fit in, fire away.
