Thanks Haim. You really answered my question and pointed me in the right direction. Pursuing MS-MPI might be the real solution for us.
We do have an older version of MPICH2 and I just wanted to update to latest.

Are you aware of any porting issues or hurdles with MS-MPI?

PS: Separate question: I was able to find .msi for older versions of
mpich2 but not anymore. Can I download .msi for latest mpich2 versions?
