I noticed you used gcc (GCC) 4.9.0 20140309 (experimental). gcc4.9 was released on Apr. 22, 2014.
Could you try a stable gcc release?

I cleaned the build and did a new configure with no options.

../src/mpich-3.1/configure --prefix=/usr/local/mpich-3.1 2>&1 | tee c.log

I have also attached  a corresponding config.log
