[CELS Sysadmins] Geek Beer Movie Night
Tonight, my house. Free beer, chip in $5 for pizza. Office Space. We'll start rolling around 7. Please let me know if you're coming so (A) we know how much pizza to order and (B) we know to wait for you. Also voice any pizza topping preferences. == Craig _______________________________________________ This is the CELS Sysadmins mailing list. So, movie night. Office Space. Since the last one was cancelled due to "rain", I'm proposing that we make up movie night this Friday at my place, at 7 PM. Most of Craig's beer is currently residing in my basement and fridge, and the dual tap with Emmett's Brown / Southern Tier Choklat is set up in my kitchen, so there's plenty of beer. As before, free beer, chip in $5 for pizza. Please let me know by Friday if you're coming so (A) I know how much pizza to order, (B) we know to wait for you, and (C) to make sure I actually have enough seating. Also, as I've never actually ordered pizza around here (!), recommendations on a good pizza delivery place near here (e.g. near the lab) would be much appreciated. My address: 9019 Coppergate Rd Woodridge, IL 60517 Phone: 630-551-8863 Google Maps has good directions, but here they are anyway: 1. Go out Westgate, turn right on Lemont Rd (northbound) 2. From Lemont Rd, turn left at the first traffic light (the one by the gas station) and immediately hang left onto the frontage road (Heritage Pkwy) 3. Drive about 3/4 mile, past the office buildings, then turn right on Westminster Drive 4. Turn right on the second road on your right, Coppergate Rd. 9019 is on the right, on the corner of Westminster and Coppergate. Oh, and if this is too last minute for folks, I'm fine postponing until next week. -Andrew On Mar 19, 2010, at 10:16 AM, Craig Stacey wrote:

I'm in for this, plus one.. My girlfriend simply cannot pass up the combo of Beer and Office Space.. Well, for that matter, beer and anything.. I'd also like to use this opportunity to promote the movie "Team America: World Police" as a future presentation, as we all know "Everybody needs a montage!" I'm Chris Walker and I approve this message. On Mar 31, 2010, at 10:09 PM, Andrew Cherry wrote:

Bummer, I won't be able to make it this Friday.
Also, as I've never actually ordered pizza around here (!), recommendations on a good pizza delivery place near here (e.g. near the lab) would be much appreciated.
Papa's Pizza on 83rd and Janes is pretty good; I actually prefer the pizza from their old location, now called Dan's Pizza (in Downers Grove on Maple Ave, just east of I-355), but Papa's is good. A little closer is Al's Pizza, on 87th (aka Boughton) and Woodward; I only ate there once, and to be honest, I don't remember how the pizza was, so that at least means that it wasn't bad. :) Don't know if they deliver. And of course, there's Rosati's on Cass, who makes whole pizzas too, not just pizza by the slice. ;) John _______________________________________________ This is the CELS Sysadmins mailing list.
