We encourage members of the community to consider submitting proposals for workshops on any topic related to the broad set of research and application areas covered by IEEE CloudCom. Workshops can be used to publish early results and/or to conduct teaching and provide hands-on experience for topics of interest to the CloudCom community. Topics of interest of IEEE CloudCom 2016 include (but are not limited to): * Architecture and Virtualization * Cloud Services and Applications * IoT and Mobile on Cloud * Big Data * High Performance Computing in/with the Cloud * Security and Privacy * Distributed Cloud / Cloud Brokering / Edge Computing More details can be found at the following URL: http://2016.cloudcom.org/conf/tracks.html Accepted workshop papers will be published in a supplement of the Proceedings of IEEE CloudCom 2016, and submitted to IEEE Xplore (conditioned by the presentation at the workshop by the author). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WORKSHOP PROPOSAL SUBMISSION All proposals should be no longer than two pages, in PDF format, and must provide the following information: * Workshop title, along with a brief 200-word abstract describing the event. - the abstract will be published on the conference web site. * Names, affiliations and contact information of the main organizers, together with, where relevant, tentative composition of the committees (as complete as possible). * Motivation, rationale and coverage of the workshop. - For regular workshops, a draft Call For Papers (CFP), as complete as possible. - For teaching workshops, a draft of the syllabus. * The workshop deadlines, both internal and external. * Workshop format _i.e._ expected number of participants, submitted and presented papers, invited talks, panels, demonstrations, etc. * If applicable, provide a description of past versions of the activity, including dates, organizers, submission and acceptance counts, attendance. For new workshops, it would help to list potential attendees.
