[CFP] RM-HPC-QC @ PDP 2027 - Resource Management in HPC-QC Environments - Barcelona, March 17-19, 2027 (Deadline: Oct 26, 2026)
CALL FOR PAPERS RM-HPC-QC: Resource Management in HPC-QC Environments Special Session held in conjunction with PDP 2027 - 35th Euromicro International Conference on Parallel, Distributed and Network-Based Processing Barcelona, Spain - March 17-19, 2027 https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://research.ac.upc.edu/PDP2027/rm_hpc_qc.htm... Submission deadline: October 26, 2026 -------------------------------------------------------------- SCOPE -------------------------------------------------------------- Quantum processors are increasingly being integrated as accelerators alongside classical high-performance computing systems. This integration raises a new class of resource management problems: hybrid workloads must be scheduled, orchestrated and executed across heterogeneous infrastructures whose components differ radically in availability, latency, reliability and cost models. The RM-HPC-QC special session brings together researchers and practitioners from the HPC, quantum computing, systems software and scheduling communities to discuss how HPC-QC environments should be managed in practice. We welcome contributions ranging from early ideas and position papers to mature system designs and experimental evaluations on real or emulated hybrid infrastructures. -------------------------------------------------------------- TOPICS OF INTEREST -------------------------------------------------------------- Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: * Hybrid HPC-QC workload scheduling * Resource allocation and orchestration * Runtime systems and middleware * Performance and cost modeling * Fault tolerance and reliability * Energy-aware management * Benchmarking and workload characterization * Cloud, edge and on-premises integration * Compiler and execution support for hybrid workflows * Scalability and reproducibility in HPC-QC systems -------------------------------------------------------------- SUBMISSION -------------------------------------------------------------- Papers must be original, unpublished work, written in English and formatted according to the IEEE Conference Proceedings Format (double-column, 10pt), with a maximum length of 8 pages including figures and references. Templates are available at: https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templ... Reviewing is double-blind: please remove all author-identifying information from the submitted manuscript. Submissions are handled through the main PDP 2027 EasyChair system; please select the RM-HPC-QC track: https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=pdp2027_... Accepted papers will be published by IEEE CPS in the PDP 2027 proceedings and indexed in Scopus. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present the work at the conference. -------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT DATES -------------------------------------------------------------- Paper submission ...............
