All, I got a bug report on mpich2-1.3.2 about a failure with older GNU compilers. I've fixed it and committed it to the trunk, 1.3.x branch and 1.3.2 branch. I'd like to push out an urgent patch release (1.3.2p1) with this fix. If there are other critical fixes that can't wait till 1.3.3, please let me know and we can push them out as well. Rajeev: can you move the nightly tests to the 1.3.2 branch (not 1.3.x branch)? If tonight's nightly tests are clean, we can push it out tomorrow. Thanks, -- Pavan -- Pavan Balaji http://www.mcs.anl.gov/~balaji

Who did you get the bug report from? Fixing GCC 2.96 bugs is a waste of time... -Dave

From a professor I know. I'm not certain it's a GCC 2.96 bug; it showed up on a machine that happened to have GCC-2.96, but the error seems genuine (C compiler and C++ compiler not agreeing on the BOOL size); that has nothing to do with GCC. -- Pavan -- Pavan Balaji http://www.mcs.anl.gov/~balaji

I've updated the staging website and uploaded the new tarballs: http://www.mcs.anl.gov/research/projects/mpich2staging/balaji/mpich2/downloa... Please try it out and make sure we didn't break anything. Thanks, -- Pavan On 02/11/2011 06:17 PM, Rajeev Thakur wrote:
