Re: [mpich2-maint] #1107: -mpiexec.hydra: would like to see -l and -tv options
A small clarification: -l (due to the convenience in mpd) is a standard argument supported by the cmnargs.c , not just mpd, and were documented in http://wiki.mcs.anl.gov/mpich2/index.php/Proposed_MPIEXEC_Extensions . Bill On Sep 29, 2010, at 1:05 PM, mpich2 wrote:

Comment:
The actual option is "-prepend-rank" in Hydra (you should be able to see if with mpiexec -help). "-l" was only added for users familiar with mpd's style.
"-a" is not an Hydra option -- it's a totalview parameter. Yes, it looks like we missed out on documenting this on the "Using Hydra" wiki. I've added it now: http://wiki.mcs.anl.gov/mpich2/index.php/Using_the_Hydra_Process_Manager#Tot...
