Set forcing in .rea and in .usr
Hi, Neks! Could you please shortly explain me, what is the difference between set forcing in .rea (p54&p55) and in .usr (set_forcing) files. In fact, via testing these two options I found that in case of .rea file u_bar is kept more precisely. Best regards, Mark
Hi Mark, p54/55 control mass flux (i.e., keep mass flux constant). ffx keeps the body force constant. Thus, using p54/55 will definitely exhibit better control of the mass flux. hth, Paul ________________________________ From: Nek5000-users <[email protected]> on behalf of [email protected] <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, August 28, 2017 10:06:23 PM To: nek5000-users Subject: [Nek5000-users] Set forcing in .rea and in .usr Hi, Neks! Thanks for your answer, but I mean set_forcing subroutine, which make ffx to keep u_bar=1. Isn't it? Best regards, Mark вторник, 29 августа 2017г., 18:53 +07:00 от [email protected] :
