Helix example is a 3D Poiseiulle flow with flow in the z direction. I want to simulate a plane Poiseuille flow, in which a fluid is moving laterally between two plates whose length and width is much greater than the distance separating them. Ok, if you are looking for plane-poiseuille flow you can look into the turbChannel example. It is designed for turbulent channel flow, but you can reduce the Reynolds number to generate a desired 3D Laminar flow.
