clang (which is on any mac with xcode >= 4.0) will not compile any OpenMP (but gcc will compile just fine):
fatal error: 'omp.h' file not found #include <omp.h> ^ 1 error generated. <<<<<<<<<<<<<
It's not in any llvm stuff as of last month: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTA0Mzc Putting this layer of abstraction is really needed (especially if there are any calls to omp_ functions)
