Sorry, somehow I thought you had a different update model in mind.

I was rambling for the sake of explaining what it would take to have this all done in javascript. There was talk last time I updated the website about having the left-hand side bar and the header use iframes / javascript / something to cut down on code duplication, so I thought I would how one would do this timestamp in javascript. The more important question is what datetime format string to use?
