FW: FW: Safety suggestions - followup from Rick's safety meeting
Ian and Mike, See Michaels safety concern below. It is the “Division” that will have to pay to cut back the spine or answer Michael as to why it does not compromise safety and will not be done. On the 5th floor, there is a gray electrical raceway installed right across what on other floors is a walkway. As its the clearest walkway to the restrooms, conference rooms, and library, we all step over this ~18"-high raceway; someone is going to trip doing that some day, and its right by a railing, making it easy to drop something over the edge in the process. Plus its distracting to the person whose desk is right there. Can this panel either be truncated to make a true walking path there, or blocked off so people don't walk that way? So again, thank you both for maintaining what I feel is an excellent and safe work environment; I only offer these perhaps overly-cautious observations in the spirit requested by Rick.
