I was finally able to reconcile my Omnigraffle layout of the data center in TCS with the actual dimensions and locations. This resulted in shifting some things around slightly. I'm attaching 4 PDFs to this mail. Remember, north is to the right. SSF-Structure.pdf is the raw structure for the SSF. The columns, walls, doors, etc. are now where they are in the architectural drawings. Note the columns are now larger than in my previous drawings, and the on-wall columns are now marked. I have not marked the door location in the day one wall near the middle of the room, because the drawings I received show what I consider to be an unworkable solution (one 3 foot door at the each of the east and west ends of the wall). I've proposed an 8' x 8' door in the middle of the wall. The walls on the east and west sides of the control room are thicker than I'd anticipated. This, combined with the column location now being accurate resulted in shifting the cabinet aisles. This does not seem to affect the proposed BG/Q layout, happily. But that changes frequently, so who knows? :) SSF-Cabinets-Cable-Trays.pdf shows the cabinet aisles, PDU locations, and proposed cable tray layout. The cable tray layout is in flux and may change depending on what I get back from Teng. (The perimeter of trays may need to be excluded). Not much to note in this drawing, except the cabinet aisles south of the columns got longer, and the ones north of the columns got shorter (and in some cases combined). SSF-Occupants.pdf shows the day one layout with machines in place. Changes include a smaller footprint for MCS networking (it was way too high), and reintroduces CIS into the plan with two aisles in the southeast corner. (EVS, your footprint is included in the MCS Infrastructure footprint). SSF-Power.pdf shows what our request for installed power will be. Please note the key in the lower left corner of the drawing, showing what each colored box represents. Also, I'm not entirely what to do for power on the SC5832. Rick mentions an 80A power drop, but I don't know how to represent that in terms of a standard. Corby, any ideas?
