Shane is working on modeling piggybacking; he and I are working on new models and engaging also with others at Sandia and elsewhere nearby on modeling exascale messaging.
Alex is working on modeling the Zhiwei model for network search, and how to do computation with the Sirocco system with data flow or similar is being considered.
Shane had the flu all last week, so I don't think any SSM-related tasks were advanced by either student.
