Either the 10th or the 17th work better for me......if it's on a Friday I am likely to go home. On Nov 11, 2009, at 2:38 PM, Rick Bradshaw wrote:

Last call to pick a day. 12/4, 11/10, and 11/17 are tied, with 12/4 having the edge as it's a Friday.

So, I'm going to echo Ti and Rick and say a place that has good food and good beer. Any of:
Gordon Biersch Emmet's Rock Bottom Yorktown St. Charles Tap House (They don't make beer, but they have a good selection) Bavarian Lodge (Ditto, but are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)
Whichever we can get. Since those were the only preferences given, let's limit it to this and move on a date.
For my purposes, it has to be before 12/18, as that's when I disappear for the year. I'm also not available the Friday before that (12/11).
The general plan for this is that we (MCS Systems) will be picking a time and place, and then inviting the rest of geekbeer audience to that. Otherwise, it will be pretty much impossible to pick a date.
We'll do this like we've done the others -- take a late lunch, leave work around 2:30-3:00 and head to the party. A Friday would be great, but if we can't make that work, we can pick another day.
Once we put out a date, please raise your hand if you're interested in coming -- it'll help us figure out how big a reservation to make.
I think the quickest way to find a date is to once again turn to Doodle. So, visit this link:

Put in your name and the dates that work for you. We'll pick a date next week, send the broader invite, and settle on the venue.

We are looking for suggestions for locations and dates (only send me dates that you will absolutely NOT be able to attend) that will be suitable for all to attend the Annual Sys Admins Holiday Party...
Please send these locations (preferably w/ web address) and dates to me by November 6th.
Happy Holidays!
