As you all saw from Tisha's email last week, she had decided to leave Argonne. Tisha has been with the ALCF for quite a while and served in both USO and Operations. Tisha has one of the broadest knowledges of ALCF systems, has a lot of institutional history (and knows where the skeletons are :-), and has done an amazing leading the systems team. She and I complemented each other well. She is a valued member of the operations team and she will be missed. However, there comes a time when you decide to move on and I wish Tisha the best of luck wherever life may take her moving forward.
In honor (or mourning depending on your point of view) of Tisha imminent departure, I would like to organize a farewell lunch. It will be at BD's Mongolian BBQ in the Bolingbrook Promenade beginning at 11:30 on Thursday 27 Feb 2014. BD's can handle most food restrictions and there is a window where you can take your food to be cooked if you have severe food allergies. Please respond to this email (just me, please don't spam the division) and let me know if you will be coming so I can make a reservation.
