Apparently, this was in my inbox. It was sent to a group of individuals, not to an outage list. I didn't catch it to forward it on. Not sure why this outage notice didn't follow normal channels.

Subject: TCS Switch Configuration Change
Impact: Building 240 and Datacenter
Begin: Tuesday September 27, 7:00PM
End: Tuesday September 27, 7:05PM
Summary:
As part of the ongoing issue we've been seeing in the 240 datacenter we need to make some changes to the main switch in building 240. There will a short outage associated with this work as spanning tree recalculates, we expect this outage to be less than one minute. This will affect all offices and workspaces in the building and also anything in the datacenter that runs through CIS equipment (HEP, TRACC, and EVS). There will be another email sent out when this work is completed.
