Let me know what you find out because our tests had the same issue and I'd like to resolve it in the most robust way possible.
My testing so far seems to work fine with this patch. I'm going to push this in for now. This will anyway go through a more thorough round of testing before the next release. If we find an issue at that point, we can come back to this discussion.
