You could install it using Homebrew or MacPorts, e.g. 'brew install mpich2'. -- Huiwei Lu Postdoc Appointee Mathematics and Computer Science Division Argonne National Laboratory http://www.mcs.anl.gov/~huiweilu/ On Tue, Jan 20, 2015 at 12:14 AM, PAVAN PAYGHAN <[email protected]> wrote:
Dear Users,
I want to install MPICH2 along with the Proper Process Manager on Mac OS Leopard in an Apple cluster. I am facing so many problems during the installation, as not aware of:
1) All the dependencies needed for the proper installation (Errors related to gcc, F77 and mkl occured). Want to know all the OS related and other libraries needed for the installation (If freeware please provide the links for the same). 2) Step-wise procedure for the proper installation specific to the Apple cluster on Mac OS Leopard. 3) After installation how to set the path for invoking the software. 4) Which Process Manager to go with whether Hydra or MPD ? and How to get it installed correctly (step-wise procedure)? 5) How to link Process Manager with MPICH2 and make it working for parallel jobs?
Please provide me with proper guide to get it done. Provide the links for the free-ware installation. Thanking You in advance.
