Hello, guys: Initially, our data service starts by MPI. It is straightforward to get the id for each server process (namely the MPI rank), the process with rank=0 is the master, and it will do some operation such as checking if all the process starts successfully or notifying the client which server is available for its data partition. If we use the margo based service and run every program per node, what is the best practice to run the distributed services in this case? One option in my mind is to provide the master service manually, and other service registers the information to the master, but the slave or the worker service needs to know the address of the master service in advance. Another way is to start the process by MPI and run one process per node by using "--map-by node", but I'm not sure if it interferes Argobot if the program starts by MPI. Thanks for your help! Hi all, We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at 9am local time! We will be filling in / refining / adding things through the week, and will likely also adapt the schedule a little each day depending on timing and interest levels.
