The MPICH group is pleased to announce the (possibly final) release of
MPICH-1, version 1.2.7 . This is primarily a bug fix release for users
that have a need for MPICH1 features, such as compatibility with
third-party software modifications to MPICH-1. Get MPICH-1, version
1.2.7, at http://www.mcs.anl.gov/mpi/mpich .
New users should use MPICH2, http://www.mcs.anl.gov/mpi/mpich2 , which
recently had its 1.0.2 release. MPICH2 supports all of MPI-1 and MPI-2
and remains under active development.
