I see. I notice the 1.0.6 configure is generated with autoconf-2.61 instead of autoconf-2.59. I bet the mandir which is defined in autoconf is default to different values in autoconf-2.59 and 2.61. While htmldir is not available in autoconf's default install variables and so is not affected by change of newer autoconf. Since all newer MCS machine uses autocon-2.61, my vote is to update the default htmldir to $prefix/share/www in our configure.in... A.Chan On Fri, 14 Sep 2007, Anthony Chan wrote:
The mandir is there, but it sits under share/man. Is it intentional or bug ? In 1.0.5 or earlier, mandir is $prefix/man. If mandir is set to $prefix/share/man, then htmldir should be set to $prefix/share/www as well.

I don't see mandir, i.e. man/, in the install directory. If I recall correcly, the mandir is present in 1.0.6-rc1's install dir..
