On icrunch, there isn't wget but only ftp, so it isn't easy to get a copy of our latest 1.1b1 or even 1.0.8. I think there are machines that doesn't come with wget/lynx but plain old ftp command besides Mac. We should consider putting a copy of mpich2 releases on our ftp server.
