Dear Jason, It seems that I cannot use it for academic purposes, such as solve linear programming problem because the NEOS solvers are not free. Am I correct ? Thank you in advance. Dr. Reinaldo, The NEOS server software code is freely available from the download link on our main site (or follow this link: http://neos.mcs.anl.gov/neos/downloads.html) The solvers themselves are not available from us, some are open-source and available independent of NEOS, some are commercial solvers that require licenses. The problem may be out of memory. It is now saying: ************************************************************* No results yet. Try reloading page later. Once I shrink the size of task a little bit, it will say out of memory. Can you do something about that? I attached the task in CPLEX form. If you can solve it and reply me the result directly, I'll be very appreciated. Thanks. Xiaomi

[NEOS Support Req #491] Problems running PENBMI solver?

I just discovered the NEOS server and think it's a very interesting tool, that has the potential to be very useful in the course of my future research. I'm trying to run a few of the examples on the PENBMI page (http://www-neos.mcs.anl.gov/neos/solvers/sdp:penbmi/MATLAB.html) such as the bmiran.m and jia.mat files. I saved them to disk, then selected the saved location in the appropriate place on the submission page, but the output from the server isn't making much sense. When it's finished running the only thing I see in the output is the standard MATLAB start message. I was able to capture the attached txt file while the solver was executing, which suggests there may be some errors? Appreciate any help, Tony Kelman (Grad student, UC Berkeley Mechanical Engineering)

But, when I submit to NEOS server, the answer is ERROR : The license for this AMPL processor has expired. How could it be solved ? Do I have to contact the group who create Bonmin? The AMPL model is available from the diet problem web page.
