We are pleased to announce the release of the PETSc 2.1.2 parallel
software libraries for the implicit solution of PDEs and related
problems.
A list of new features and changes in PETSc is available via

these include
1) Added support for Spooles parallel sparse direct factorization
2) Added support for HYPRE preconditioners (including PILUT, Euclid, BoomerAMG)
