We have scheduled a discussion on performance conversations for Dec
1st at 2 pm in TCS 1416.
I’ll share my thoughts on appraisal discussions. I’ve asked Geralyn
Becker to share some best practices regarding feedback between
supervisors and employees, including how do we know people are getting
feedback on the things they want. I’ve also asked Geralyn to lead us
in a discussion of career paths – both when supervisor and employee
share a career vision and when the view that someone has of where they
need or want development assistance is not aligned with what a
supervisor might suggest for them.
Mark your calendars and please forward to supervisors, managers, and
others you feel should attend.
