Looks like this html is built by the script '/home/MPI/maint/ makewwwpages', although I don't know where that is called from. Presumably someone's (Bill's?) crontab calls it nightly. There is suspiciously similar looking tree of HTML in '/home/MPI/www' but it lacks the "This file generated by" comment in index.html that exists on the website. So I'm not actually sure where http:// www.mcs.anl.gov/mpi/www/ is being served from. Hopefully whoever touched it last will speak up and let us know so that we don't have to do too much more detective work.
