Scott and Carolyn, Thanks for the note. We agree curbs would be a nice addition to the parking lot but at this time the cost is prohibitive. We also agree there is an issue with cars going to fast in the parking lot and are looking into adding speed bumps. I will keep you posted. Jim, per Rick's request the following 5 pictures show areas of safety concern that I believe need to be addressed.
Pictures 1,2, 4, 5 show the need for curbs around the islands in the 240 parking lot. Numerous times cars and especially buses cut the corners causing big divots which then cause mud and slippery conditions to occur.
Picture #3 shows the main straightaway of the 240 parking lot where I feel it needs at least 1 if not 2 speed bumps. I have had a few close encounters with people driving way too fast in either direction. IMO it is just a matter of time before someone or another car gets into an accident. By the time you back out it is too late.
