Hi all, Is anyone aware of ACME tests that could be run on a desktop? Did CESG have any unit tests up and running at the point where we forked ACME? Are there any small integration tests? Thanks, -Jim

Hi all, I'm not even sure if this is the right list to send this question to, but here goes.. I've been trying for several days to get ACME building on one of our CI slaves. It looks like someone intended to link the fortran netcdf library but linked the C one instead by accident. Has anyone else seen this? Is this just due to the way I installed netcdf on my machine? Hi Jim and Doug- What do these these binary files contain? Observational datasets for model comparison? Initial condition files? Interpolation weights for mapping files? Others? I think workflow is planning to store and provide easy access of model and observational data (binary and otherwise) and mapping files (since workflow is going to create interpolation as part of the workflow for data analysis). But I don¹t think we (ACME) have talked about where to put initial condition files. We know enough to define the "first half" of the process - getting the code, making a branch and starting development - for others to get started. branch naming convention

We need to very soon decide on a ACME branch naming convention. I'm in favor of having one person in charge of a branch, even if they're not the only one working on it, and their github username being in the branch name. That way the various visual tools for exploring the repo will also show "who" when displaying branch names. This well help track of who is doing what. We only have a handful of models or other distinct areas in the code so we don't need "models/atm" and "models/lnd". "cam" and "clm" are descriptive enough. In general, the branch names should be: <github username>/<sub-model or sub-component>/<feature description> some example branch names: rljacob/machines/add-argonne-cluster rljacob/drv/new-driver worleyph/scripts/more-timers Rob
