Yes, but I think Rob is hoping for an "information design" since that's the most manual part. Rob, maybe we can create a mock-up for one of the teams, make the site public temporarily (to avoid handing out accounts), and then people can comment in the google document? ACME coupled Integration team telecons

Hi all, Apologies to those who receive this message multiple times - I wanted to make one last attempt to reach everyone who could be interested in coupled simulation issues. From here on messages will only go to those who explicitly expressed interest in coupled integration team… It looks like Mondays at 1pm PDT is the best time for coupled integration telecons. We will start next Monday (June 30) with an hour-long telecon focused on identifying what tasks are needed in the 1st 6 months and who will do them. I hope to hear from you then! suspend github access to development CESM

ACME-SE, The github repositories for ACME and ACME_v0 contained CESM code that was subject to their developer's agreement. This became an issue when it was pointed out that not all ACME developers have an active CESM agreement. I decided not to go down the path of monitoring who had an agreement and who didn't, and my current opinion is that it should not be necessary to have a CESM account and valid agreement to work on ACME. I have therefore removed access to these repositories for the ACME teams on github, which at this point was just a dozen or so early adopters. We will repopulate the repositories soon, either with an approved development version or an OpenSource version. Andy

ACME-tech is now ACME-SE

Hi everyone, The existence of two mailing list was confusing everyone so the members of ACME-tech have been added to ACME-SE. Please direct all current conversations on ACME-tech to ACME-SE by editing the "To" line when you reply. And please start new threads in ACME-SE. Both lists will exist for a while but eventually ACME-tech will be switched to not deliver mail. The archive from the past week or so will stay. Rob

CESM + ACME Testing

Hello Andy and Jim, I was curious if I could get either of you to create me a new team in the ACME-Climate organization with admin privileges named something like "CESM-Testing". I want to try to put a repo up that is private that I can add some of the CSEG developers to, to play with workflows. I just need the team made, and I can take care of the rest. Thanks! Doug

ACME Git Tutorials

Hey guys (Jed and Jeff mostly, but maybe others?), I wrote up a document for MPAS describing its workflow. I tried to adapt it to the ACME workflow a bit, so here it is. If you guys want to read over it, feel free. Hopefully it describes most of the use cases we expect people to have and does a reasonable job at explaining git. I didn't go into too many nitty gritty details (like describing what a commit is, or how git stores it), and some of those might be important to cover in at least minimal detail. Hipchat

I'm experimenting with Hipchat as a possible chat client. It integrates with both Atlassian (some edits from a space can get posted to a designated room) and Github. Its one more account to get but the integration features make it worth it.
