Mark, Susannah and Peter, Please make sure that the creation of new workflow software is fully coordinated with the workflow group leaders. You may already be doing this. The only Confluence discussion I saw was in the Atmosphere space pages, which are likely not automatically watched by the Workflow leaders. I could very well have missed a similar discussion in the Workflow space. Additionally, please make sure that the creation of the repository and its software appears in the Workflow road map and links provided from the Road Map to the JIRA tasks under which the repository and scripts were created. I have a few rhetorical questions that came to my mind as I think about next steps. Who is responsible for maintenance and documentation of the software? the developers?, SE Group? Workflow group? Andy, Rob, Dean and Kate – How many repositories should ACME have? Are the standards for all repositories the same? These are questions that have impact on the broader project as we move forward. Also, for those on this list who don't know, the AMIP workflow task is an alpha/beta test type of activity. After the full process is completed, we (Peter, Kate, Dean, Qi, me and perhaps all of you) will do a retrospective review and make modifications before moving to the more difficult problem of the v0.1 coupled runs. No response to this email is needed. The relevant pieces will come up during the retrospective. Thanks everyone for working on this task. It is an important project learning exercise. Hi ACME SE team, I have a small collection of scripts that I have written to help with setting up and running the diagnostics code that the Workflow team has provided. Today I also added a script written by Peter Caldwell that fits in that category. The repository is currently in my personal Github account: https://github.com/susburrows/WorkflowScripts I think it would make sense to transfer ownership to the ACME-Climate organization, so that others can more easily find it and submit changes. Does that seem reasonable, and if yes, could someone help me to do that (who has the necessary permissions)?
