Before driving in in the morning, I decided to check my tire pressure. 3 of my tires had less than 15 psi and the 4th wasn't much better. I tried going by Meijer to fill up the tires but the nozzle had frozen. So I need to go by Discount Tire before coming in. They don't open until 8am so I'm going to work from home from 6:30 until about 7:45 and then head to get my tires inflated and then head in. I may miss the sync, but I hope everything goes smoothly and I make it in before that.

NTP holes and what the hackers were doing over XMAS.

It appears they targetted/use NTP servers in a DDOS. http://www.symantec.com/connect/blogs/hackers-spend-christmas-break-launchi… I do not think MCS has any NTP servers exposed to the outside world at this point, even though they keep trying to get service from 140.221.8.88 and 140.221.9.20, but the firewall blocks that, so ... There are some instructions in the link on how to tighten things up that may be worth going through on servers you have. Auditors may look at this too. --Gene

If the Lab is open tomorrow, I am going to have to work from home. I am not taking him out. And anyway, neither one of our cars are starting anyway.. Unless I got a ride to work in the squad, Joe can't start either one of our trucks anyway (even the new truck). LOL. This is just crazy, but loving it being at home.
