per-object build issue

I’m having a problem building mpich 3.1 with the enable-thread-cs=per-object build option. I get a lot of errors like these: /src/include/mpiimplthreadpost.h:27: warning: conflicting types for 'MPIU_Thread_CS_enter_lockname_impl_' ./src/include/mpiimplthreadpost.h:27: error: static declaration of 'MPIU_Thread_CS_enter_lockname_impl_' follows non-static declaration ./src/include/mpiimpl.h:1280: note: previous implicit declaration of 'MPIU_Thread_CS_enter_lockname_impl_' was here Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

I figured it out. I used wrong base address. I've looked through the hydra docs but I haven't found a flag or anything else that would let me disable it spawning in tree mode, if MPICH even does that. Hi, I have difficulties to implement mpi_win/mpi_put. What's strange is, that when a process N puts data on ROOT, ROOT gets most of the data correct, with few exceptions. Attached is a small example, which illustrates the problem and here is a short description. 1. There is an array BP(nBP) of type /DR_boundaryPoint_t = {integer, character*32,real(3),real}/. 2. MPI type /MPI_DR_boundaryPoint_t/ match DR_boundaryPoint_t// 3. ROOT opens a window /BP_win/ for /nBP/ elements of type /MPI_DR_boundaryPoint_t/ 4. ONE puts /BP(3) to root:BP(3)/ ROOT receives the real fields /dist/ and /ori/ correctly, but the integer field /bcTag/ is not updated, and the character field /bcName/ is messed up. 0: bcTag= 0 dist= 0.9000E+01 bcName=TEST A ori= 0.6000E+01 0.9000E+01 0.1200E+02 1: bcTag= 99 dist= 0.9000E+01 bcName=TEST ori= 0.6000E+01 0.9000E+01 0.1200E+02 I have no idea what I am doing wrong. How does MPICH spawn processes, and is there a way to configure it?

I have recently built a cluster of Raspberry Pi computers. When this was made up of a master node and 2 slave nodes there was no issue calling mpiexec across the cluster. When I add an additional node to the cluster bringing the size to 1 master and 3 slave nodes I get an error of "Host File Verification Failed". I've tested password-less SSH on all nodes and it's working correctly. I've done some googling of the error and set up and the only mention I've gotten to it was on this link here relating to OpenMPI - http://www.open-mpi.org/community/lists/users/2013/11/22940.php Is there a similar setup for MPICH and if so can someone link me to the correct documentation page? I noticed you used gcc (GCC) 4.9.0 20140309 (experimental). gcc4.9 was released on Apr. 22, 2014. mpich and nmap

I am using MPICH 1.4.1p1 with ch3:sock device, and have noticed that it is vulnerable to being scanned by nmap. With a rank sitting on an MPI_Recv, if you use nmap to scan the rank's listen ports with a command like: nmap -p <port> -T4 -A -v <host> MPI_Recv with detect an error and exit. Has this been fixed in newer versions of MPICH?
