Oddly enough, I just got a voice mail reminding me of a dr appt at lunch tomorrow, and it's one of those I can't miss.. Sooooo I'll be setting CI userbase live from here, then going to the appt, then I'll be in the office in the afternoon for the UB sync.. Whew, I'm complicated! Still trying to figure out how it took 12 hours to deliver a voicemail, apparently AT&T has it's own measure of time..

I went down and helped. Some people were confused about what username to use. I don't know how more explicit we can actually be, but we should be aware that this is probably the largest point of confusion. We should emphasize that Mail.app *needs* to be restarted after the change. It will appear that all the mail is gone, but restarting the app fixes this. For those of you who were migrated last night, I've put in forwarding for you so that mail sent to your @mcs.anl.gov address will go to your @alcf.anl.gov address automatically. I completely underestimated how many of the @mcs.anl.gov addresses were being actively used, and I should have done that automatically for everyone, and not just those who'd asked. Since 1am my inbox has filled with "user unknown" mail reject messages. I assume folks with @alcf addresses used to have / are subscribed to mailing lists with @mcs addresses. I didn't see any tickets regarding this --- yet.
