Hi, The jobs you submitted to MG-RAST have failed as the sequence files contain a non-ASCII character which shows up as '^Z' at the end of the file. This is probably the end-of-file character used by some software, the MG-RAST code treats it as part of the previous sequence and fails. Hi, The jobs you submitted to MG-RAST (13969, 13972, 13973) have failed and can not be restarted. The sequence files for these jobs do not have a extension in the filename and the server requires a sequence file with an extension like '.fasta'. Hi, The job you submitted to MG-RAST (14008, SS_20_75_25000) has failed as the sequence file does not conform to the FASTA standard. The sequence identifiers are required to immediately follow the '>' character without any space on the header lines. Also, the sequence identifiers are required to be unique and there are multiple header lines which have the sequence ID 'intergenic'. Dear Sirs/Madams, I am a researcher at Tohoku University in Japan. I'd like to ask about Functional Role Assignment in MG-rast. I found a Functional Role Assignment "Ferrichrome-iron receptor" in Transport of Iron subsystem and ABC transporter ferrichrome subsystems. Do these two Ferrichrome-iron receptor mean same functional role? Thanks Takashi Okubo
