The survey seems focused on the how well the lab and the divisions do
in communicating their missions and how you fit into the big picture.
In this way the survey is flawed. It's missing portions about
how well the lab communicates other things affecting the employees.
For example, the lab sent home notice of the long term care planning stuff.
yet they have not sent notice you need to do various things to save $600
on your medical insurance next year. There was a blip in the Argonne-Today
that 201 knows most employees do NOT read. Supposedly they put it up on
the safety hazzards above the guard posts. It was also supposedly on some
video-posters that are in the cafeteria and 201. (some other locations,
but I never go past them so..)
For most "important" things the lab sends out, I think they follow this:

Unless people comment on the lack of consistency on important issues
to your benefits package, the people in 201 will think what they are
doing is acceptable.
