Yes, since v11.x, the 64 bit linux Cubit does not support STEP translation. I have it on good authority that v12.2 will restore this capability. It's only the combination of 64 bit & Linux. Yes. Among Cubits in ANL, only 32 bit version have the step license internally. You may connect to several 32 bit machine (triumph ...) to run it in ANL nfs file system. When I try to import a .stp file (attached) I see different behavior with different versions of Cubit. Is it something to do with 32bit / 64bit version?
