Hello Argonne ACME folks,
The ACME all-hands meeting last week went pretty well. The project is
considered a success so far because it did not blow up from inter-lab
fighting in the first 9 months. The ACME executive committee received a
"Secretary's Honor" award for bringing multiple labs together on a
project. Expect to see a press release soon.
Everyone was supposed to leave the meeting with a clear idea of the next
6 months of work leading up to the v1.0 feature freeze. We all have
plenty to do.
They are scheduling a second meeting, this time without requiring
attendance from everyone, for the first week in November. That will be
after the planned feature freeze date of Nov 1 so should be a lively
meeting.
